Basic Bead Stringing
Sundays, 1 to 3 p.m.
What is a crimp? How do I use these pliers? What’s better to use – a toggle or a lobster clasp? How many beads do I need to make a bracelet? Get answers to these typical questions in this class and walk out with a piece of jewelry that you make yourself.
Knotting
Wednesdays, 3 to 5 p.m.
Access the lost art of knotting when you learn to make fun(ky) jewelry with silk and pearls. Knotting is used to protect yourself from loss of every pearl in case the strand breaks and to create a measured space between beads. More often these days, the knotting technique is used to make malas- tools for meditation.
