Payment of class fee is required to reserve your seat. Fee is refundable (minus a $5 handling fee) if canceled at least 72 hours before the event. Choose your materials and color ways well in advance of the class. We offer 10% off all class materials and of purchases on the day of the class.

Thursday, September 21

Drawstring Locket/Essential Oil Diffuser

11am – 2pm

$45 + materials

Learn a unique technique to create sturdy wire components with bead settings. Together these components can be used to create many different pieces of jewelry like multi-strand necklaces, bracelets, rings and best of all a drawstring locket. These components are fashioned on a surprising jig that will be yours to keep.

All skill levels and ages welcome!

Dream in Crystal

3pm – 6pm

$45 + materials

Inspired by Laura’s heritage, this design echoes dream catchers of Chippewa, Lakota, Ojibiwa and other Native American nations. Crystals and gemstones provide an opportunity to re-interpret and honor our cultural predecessors. Using peyote, netting and right angle weave beadweaving techniques, we will celebrate beady history.

This is an intermediate level class. Prior experience with right angle weave is essential for the fun to begin!

Dicey Druzy

11am – 6pm

$90 + materials

This stylish pendant with beaded cube beads converts into a dice game with collapsible cup. Students will learn to bezel a druzy bead, build perfectly fitting beaded cylinders and create dice made of beads.

All skill levels and ages welcome! Previous experience with peyote stitch is recommended.

11am – 6pm

$90 + materials

Escape to the bliss of mandalas in motion with this necklace that is also a functioning kaleidoscope. Our focus will be on beading a study cylinder of beads to house the kaleidoscope parts. Next we will move on to the joy of embellishing and enhancing.

All skill levels and ages welcome! Previous experience with peyote stitch is helpful.

Sunday, September 24

Rizo Pinwheels

1pm -4pm

$45 + materials

Get to play with new Rizo beads. These beautiful new shapes of fringe beads stitch quickly and easily into floral links using a speedy version of square stitch. Next we’ll play with two-holed Super Duo beads. This will all come together to create a spinning garden of a necklace or bracelet. Depending on the finish of the Rizo beads, your creation can even be reversible.

All skill levels and ages welcome. A little prior experience with off loom bead weaving is helpful.
